American Presidential Dictatorship

When a distinguished constitutional scholar from Yale Law School warns that within the next few decades we have a 20-25% chance of a presidential dictatorship in America unless we adopt important structural reforms, well, we should pay attention. Bruce Ackerman's suggestions for reform in his latest book, The Decline and Fall of the American Republic, are extraordinarily imaginative and well worth considering, purely on their merits as well as within the context of our larger political struggle.
