Whither Pakistan?

There aren't many experts on Pakistan's nuclear program, or in particular on its command and control systems. And fewer still who are also sensibly articulate about Pakistani politics. We're fortunate to have Dr. Shaun Gregory, Director of the Pakistan Security Research Unit at the University of Bradford, to explain things. No doubt about it: Pakistan has turned into a fine mess — it'll require sustained intelligent attention to recover safely but even so, outside help doesn't guarantee stability.
