The Art of Listening

Here's a reasonably thorough briefing on the middle east from a fellow who was until recently one of the top analysts in the State Department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research. In addition to a being a balanced assessment of the subject it's a rare window into how INR typically tots up its accounts. Wayne White is a very smart guy who isn't shy about his ethics—I found this conversation particularly invigorating and I hope Wayne returns periodically to talk with EP.
