Rolling Thunder

For Memorial Day I thought it would be appropriate to hear the latest from Baghdad, and Tom Lasseter of Knight-Ridder was kind enough to talk with me. A first, btw, for EP in having a repeat guest. Tom's reporting from Baghdad has continued to earn him recognition, the latest being the Overseas Press Club's Hal Boyle Award, which was presented to him recently in NY by Brian Williams. Quite a prestigious award and well deserved. Plus which, the nice thing about Tom is that he's sincere in trying to do his best, while managing to avoid becoming cynical. I like that.
