Onward, Legion of Doom!

Fu ManchuWell, now the head of the British army, Sir Richard Dannatt, has spilled the beans: the presence of UK armed forces in Iraq "exacerbates the security problems." Presumably what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Why should the presence of US forces result in any other effect? It's just crystal clear—the longer the 'coalition' stays in Iraq the worse things will be for all concerned. Sir Richard adds, the British should "get out some time soon." Right, because the last to leave, e.g., the Americans, are likely going to be heloed out of the Green Zone, if they're lucky.
