The Badger Box
China, welcome to the Badger Box. The Pentagon must plan for something, must provide those mega-billions of contracts to support bipartisan graft for the Homeland. But one would think that somebody in the administration outside the Pentagon might have dropped a word: You can't go to war with China if the Chinese are paying for it. Unless and until the Chinese no longer hold hundreds of billions of dollars of (practically worthless) US government debt, then any real altercation with China will result in the immediate destruction of the US economy – on a far worse scale than a few nukes.

Long time ago the dutch did what Mr. Rumsfeld tries to accomplish - they borrowed money from Spain and then went to war and won it. Of course after loosing the war, Spain never got the money back.
Of course II do not suggest Mr. Rumsfeld reads history or has the intellectual capacity to think of such plan. It is just a funny coincidence.
